Types of Software

According to its kind, software can be distinguished into several parts of which are as follows:

Freeware
Freeware (free software) is computer software that is copyright free and can be used indefinitely, unlike shareware which require the wearer to pay (e.g. after a certain trial period or to gain additional features). Freeware developers usually create a free tool "to donate to the community", but also want to maintain their rights as a developer and have control over application development. sometimes if the application developers decided to stop developing a freeware product, they will give you the source code (source code) to other developers or distribute the source code to the public as free software can be developed together.

Shareware
Shareware is software that is provided to users without pay by trials and often at the limit by a combination of functionality, availability, or comfort. So just knowing your reply using this application could not exploit it to the maximum, because the application is actually a shareware application tests.
Shareware is often offered as a download application from a website which carries with it a texts such as newspapers or magazines. The rationale behind Shareware software is to give buyers the opportunity to try to use the program before purchasing a license for the full version of the software that peers. It is also used as a marketing strategy shareware application developers. Why shareware is also commonly referred to as Trialware.

Firmware
Firmware is an application that refers to software that is stored in the Read Only Memory (read-only). Unlike random-access memory, the Firmware will not be changed even though it is not electrified. Routine-a routine that is able to turn on the computer (startup) and basic input/output instructions (a kind of BIOS or operating system embedded) is stored in the Firmware. Modifications are still possible, but it depends on the type of ROM (Read Only Memory) that are used. The firmware is stored in ROM cannot be modified, but the Firmware is stored in ROM that can be modified kind of EEPROM or Flash ROM, it still can be changed according to your needs.

Commercial Software
Commercial Software (paid software) is software that is distributed or made for commercial purposes, any users who wish to use it or get the software by way of purchase or pay on a party that distribute it, you can go to the developers (developers) software, or to the counterparty of the software developer. users that use paid software usually is not legalised to disseminate or distribute software purchased, licensed freely without permission from the Publisher. An example of this for instance is a paid software Microsoft Visual Basic NET, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw and many others. Commercial Software is also protected by copyright laws, and we have to buy to get it. This software is strictly prohibited to be copied (would have been illegally).

Free Software
Free Software (free software) is a term coined by Richard Stallman and the Free Software Foundation (a non-profit organization and is the main sponsor of the GNU project) which refers to software that is free to use, study and modified and can be copied with or without modifications, or by some necessity to ensure that the same freedom can still be enjoyed by users. Free here also means in use, study, copy, modify, copy or sell a piece of software, one does not need to ask permission from anybody. In other words you can fiddle atik as you wish.
